I always liked the Crusaders’ version of Eleanor Rigby. The whole album “The Other Side of Abbey Road” by George Benson is good as well. Terry Haggerty (formerly in the Sons of Champlin) did a great version of I Want You (She’s So Heavy).
I know we talked some months ago about the Grateful Dead’s doing Tomorrow Never Knows as an encore in the 90s.
Yes, remember talking about the Dead cover. The Crusaders and George Benson takes remind of this Booker T and the MGs album, which is also pretty good.
