Yes, too straight ahead souly. I don’t really get the point of reproducing that sound today, unless you’re a wedding band. But it’s a great sound and these backup singers are a blast, and really the band is fun. I bet they have fun. But they should trick it up somehow, express sentiments you might not expect in the setting.
