I suppose they mean a rare version. It still sounds good stripped down but the Lee “Scratch” Perry production on the original is truly awesome, although it’s said that Lee was hardly in the studio at all. I would add that Mick is playing my guitar here.

Totally kills. Complete Control is not just a great punk song, it is an all time great rock song!
I like “Complete Control” as much as the next guy, but I’m not orgasming or anything like the rest of you.
The guitar sound is terribly weak on this video. Plus added bonus of no bass whatsoever.
The whole thing basically sounds like a little Pignose played by itself in someone’s bedroom.
It’s the video here that’s the thing.
