  1. Good stuff. Aftermath was the first album I ever owned and the bridge of this song is an all-time killer. Never been a big Jackson Browne fan but this one is his best IMO, self-pity like it ought a be. And the flip side to Light My Fire – Morrison is best when you don’t know what he’s talking about.

  2. First of all, glad to have you back, Gene. I thought you were dead.

So, I finally went to the dictionary and listened to some of these songs. First off, I’m happy to report that it’s languor, not langour. Take that, smartypants Peter. (“Smartypants Peter” would make a good band name actually. Take note you 15-year-old pop punkers out there who have nothing to contribute. Run with that name and find yourself a hot mediocre girl singer who’ll mumble about junkies.)

Languor is not a good thing in music.

Stones and Doors songs – boring.

Nico song – Jackson Browne bites big weenies, but Nico pulls this out. Not sure what Nico couldn’t pull out.

Thank you and goodnight. Back to my own world now.
