I had a friend who lived in Seattle who introduced me to the Sonics for real. There were minutes of pleasure, over and over, discovering the many sides of this garage band, which seemed to be way ahead of the times.

Pre-hippie wild 60’s, must have been a cool scene. All these NW bands owe a lot to Little Richard and why not.
This song was a staple on Friday nights at The Funhouse in Bethlehem in the 80’s, where garage bands were the thing, both local and from elsewhere. Cool video.
boy, i think that is one of the dumbest videos ever. i wanted to see the band play, not a bloody milk commercial.
but, i do like the sonics, and did back when. still have a single of “the witch” somewhere.
I like the milk commercial a lot. Seems ominous and ironic given the lyrics.
