Was driving yesterday and happened upon this oldie, which is an excellent example of White Reggae. No attempt here to emulate the roots of our Rasta brethren and sistren, but rather an incorporation of the Jamaican rhythm to make the song pop.
Any other examples?
Too much white. Not enough reggae.
I never thought of this song as anything to do with reggae but I see what you mean – it sounds like The Police.
