He shoulda given it to Bowie. I think Neil is wrong though, any stirrings of Nixon soul were strangled at birth.
I love “On the Beach.” Up there with “Ragged Glory” and “Trans” as my fave Neil albums.
I think what he means here is that Trickie Dick has a nice plate of filet of sole (on the beach, right?) that he is ready to pour ketchup on.
